Woodlands Community Meeting Room
As you probably know, Rokpa are selling the building, and we have been looking for other accommodation. Nothing is perfect, and a lot of the potential spaces are quite dowdy.
We have been looking at Woodlands Community Room [www.woodlandscommunity.org.uk] which is nearby us, at the other end of Ashley Street (66 Ashley Street, G3 6HW), just a few minutes walk (190 metres distance). We will try it for an experimental period, at least until the end of the year, at the same times on Saturday and Sunday as we presently have.
We are aiming to start there on Saturday 6 September, so the last sitting at Rokpa (KSD) will be Sunday 31st August.
As we have limited storage at Woodlands, we ask that regular practitioners please bring their own meditations cushion and mat (such as a zabuton or yoga mat). We have a small number of cushions and mats for those new to sitting with us.
